Chelsy Branch, SUDP — PHP Counselor
Chelsy started with Clarity April 2026 as a Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) and Certified Peer Support Specialist with over nine years of experience supporting individuals on their recovery journeys. She began her career as a Residential Treatment Specialist in a detox facility in Skagit County while earning her Associate of Applied Science in Human Services (General Emphasis), completed in 2024, and later obtained her certificate in Substance Use Disorder Counseling in Spring 2025.
In 2018, she worked on a PACT team as a Peer Support Specialist and Chemical Dependency Specialist before transitioning within the same organization to an inpatient setting, where she has spent over seven years supporting individuals with severe mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders. After gaining extensive experience as a Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee (SUDPT), she advanced to her current role as a licensed SUDP in July of last year.
Chelsy brings a compassionate, empathetic, and person-centered approach to her work, with a deep commitment to helping individuals build resilience, discover purpose, and sustain meaningful recovery. She is now stepping into a role facilitating a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) for adults and adolescents, continuing her dedication to helping others build strong foundations for lasting recovery.
